They say it takes a village to raise a child but it takes a group of women to raise the ceiling!

The Hive is looking for members who want to make a difference and have the confidence, passion and enthusiasm to jump onboard and join a club never seen before in our Rotary district – driven by youth and women for youth and women.

WHY HIVE?

Hive was established and officially charted in April 2023 with the goal of doing Rotary differently. Our main differences are:

  • We are not female only club but we are definitely female driven and focused.
  • Our focus is entirely around women, youth and education.
  • We will only meet twice a month with the second being online and act as a hybrid club meaning you can join from anywhere within Australia.
  • Only require one face to face or zoom meeting a month from our members.
  • Purely project-based club. Members will select a project that they are keen to work on be it local, national or international and the project team reports back once a month.
  • Our meetings will be part meeting/part social and it is anticipated that depending on what project you get involved in that your commitment to Rotary will be around 4-8 hrs a month.
